2016 Farm Stock Rules


    20" Hitch Height for all tractors in 10,5-18,5 classes (Track #1).
    22" Hitch Height for all tractors in 22-50+ classes (Track #2). Measured to the top               surface of the hitching device 
    NO European hitches

   Weights and weight brackets CAN be homemade.
   Front weights can not exceed 48" ahead of the front of the tractor frame. (Where starter      weight bolts to)
   Weights can not protrude past the rear tires
   NO loaders or blades
   NO weights in cab or on operators platform

   MFWD can be turned ON starting in class 3 (12,5-15,5)

   Maximum engine speed of 2900 RPM (2 stroke engines exempt). Suspicious tractors         will be laser tached and/or dyno tested.

   No support straps or chains attached from the drawbar to a higher point on the tractor         (i.e. rockshaft arms, sway block mounts).

1. All competitors must be 16 years of age or older.Competitors under 18 need guardian       signature at time of registration

2. All competitors must be the owner of the tractor or have written consent from the owner     to compete with their tractor.

3. Competitors are not to consume alcohol or inhibitors prior to pulling.

4. Competitors compete at their own risk. All competitors must sign a waiver clearing the       ETTP Committee, volunteers, and sponsors any responsibility in accidents or property       damage.

5. Competitors must abide by the rules set out in the Embro Tractor Pull rules.

6. All decisions made by the ETTP track officials are final. Arguing with track officials will       result in disqualification.

7. It is the responsibility of the competitor to register for the correct class, and ensure the       tractor is correctly weighted prior to pulling.

8. Tractors must be stock farm tractors and retain the capability to perform field work, i.e.       No alcohol injection, cement filled water jackets, oversized turbochargers, cut tires, or         engine RPM's above 2900 RPM.

9. All tractors equipped with Mechanical Front Wheel drive must operate with MFWD              disengaged in weight classes 1 and 2 (Max 10,500, and 10,500-12,500)
.  Failure to do so will result in automatic disqualification and will be judged by track               officials.

10.No Duals in 10,5-18,5 classes. Rear duals allowed in Max 22 class. Front duals                  allowed in Max 34 class. Triples allowed in Max 40 class.

12.All weights must be securely fastened to the tractor and cannot be chained or wired to        the frame. In the event any articles fall from the tractor while pulling the competitor will        face automatic disqualification.

13.All tractors must be equipped with either a factory drawbar style hitch with or without a hammer strap or D-ring. (As shown in Fig. 1,2, and 3).Hammerstap pins must be removeable.
14.No portion of the tractor may interfere with any portion of the sled or sled hitching device. All add-on brackets, wiring harnesses, and hydraulic hoses must be removed or secured away from the drawbar area.

15.The tractor tires must remain inside the boundaries of the contest course.

16. Driver has 100’ to decide to restart.

17. Driver must be in total control at all times and operate in a safe manner or be disqualified at the discretion       of the flag person.

18.Tractor must be stopped upon signal from either track official. Pull is considered over when forward motion      of the sled stops, no hole digging allowed.

19. All tractors must be in neutral or park while being hooked or unhooked.

20.The number one puller will be the test puller, may take the pull if the working condition of the weight                machine is satisfactory. Driver will have the option to drop re pull later in the class. Driver must decide            immediately after their initial pull.

21.Each contestant may spot the sled for their pull. Contestant must notify the track official or sled operator         before the sled is backed into start position. All contestants must pull in position drawn within three minutes     of sled spotting or will be disqualified. Track officials must be notified of any delays, and then the                   contestant may become last puller.

22. All pulls must start with a tight hitch, no jerking.

23. Violation of any rule will result in automatic disqualification. Track official has the right to stop and                  disqualify any tractor at any time.

24.The same tractor can not pull in the same class with differenct drivers.

25.Failure to obey either flag person will result in disqualification of that class.

26.You will not be allowed to pull next year if you intentionally break these rules!
